Chicken nibblet curry


This a very mild curry that is good for kids. Nibblets cook very quickly

You can add some green chillies if you want some heat

Ingredients:

1 lb chicken nibblet (wash and pat dry)

3 -4 shallots or 1 large onions

1 tbsp oil

1 cup of chopped tinned tomatoes

1 tbsp of ginger and garlic paste

1 tbsp tomato pure

1 tsp of coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

2 tsp paprika

1 tsp curry powder

1 cup of frozen peas

Chopped coriander for garnishing

Instructions


Fry onions  until brown. Add garlic and ginger paste.

Keep stirring  until raw Tate disappear

Add some water and simmer until soft as below.


Add cumin, coriander , paprika and curry powder. Keep stirring to avoid burning. Add small amount of water if it start sticking

Then add chopped tomatoes and pure


Simmer until tomatoes are soft

Add the chicken and stir.

Let it simmer for 3 minutes


Then add some water and cover. Let it simmer in low to medium  heat.

Once chicken nearly done. Add frozen peas.


Once cooked, garnish with coriander. Serve with rice or naan
